Hillbilly racing is a racing game where players skill matters as much as their NFTs. Players will participate in different races in various game modes. To win valuable prizes players need to ride the longest distance through crazy tracks.
But it will not be an easy ride. Hillbilly racing extends classic racing gameplay to make it more fun and challenging. Racing team consists of three playable characters who ride on the same car simultaneously.
Playable team consists of a vehicle and 1-4 characters ()depends on the vehicle type. Each character has specific position in the team. It can be either Driver, Shooter or Fighter.
Drives the car, has one gadget that can be activated manually.
Each gadget has its own effect that lasts for a couple of seconds. E.g. - increase car speed, heal car, open shield, etc.
Gadget requires batteries to activate. One activation requires one battery.
Shoots distant obstacles and targets
Each character uses specific weapon
Weapons require bullets. Each shot uses one bullet.
Hits enemies that attack the car (e.g. Angry beavers)
Each character uses specific melee weapon
Fighters consume energy drinks to be able to fight. One drink - 10 hits.
Racing track is being procedurally generated every time player starts a race. This means every ride is unique and always fresh and fun.
A track is divided on blocks separated by checkpoints. A block can belong to a different season (e.g. winter or summer) which affects its visual decoration, physics properties and set of obstacles.
There are different types of obstacles (e.g. barricades and angry beavers) and coins ($CORN tokens) randomly scattered on the track. Player has to destroy obstacles and collect rewards.
PvE
This is endless mode where player races against AI controlled opponent. If opponent reaches a checkpoint earlier than player, the rival will throw Molotov cocktail into player's car dealing some damage.
Player has to ride carefully in order not to get damage from hitting the ground. And the same time drive fast in order to avoid getting damage from opponent.
The race stops when player car is destroyed. Either because of flipping on the back or loosing all health points.
Player goal - is to drive as long as possible and get as many coins ($CORN tokens) as possible.
PvP (in the roadmap)
This is asynchronous PvP mode on which players compete against each other ghosts. The goal is the same - ride as long as possible and get as many tokens as you can.
